The Kodak P460 Scans Negatives at 1200 dpi using a special adapter that comes included with the scanner.
To start scanning negatives, insert your memory card into the slot on the back of the scanner.
Plug the scanner in, and turn it on using the power button located on the top of the device.
Slide the paper guide to the right.
Carefully insert the 35 mm negative adapter with the grooves near the middle of the P460 photo scanner, and gently insert the adapter into the feed slot.
Insert your filmstrip.
The filmstrip will be fed and scanned.
After the blinking light on the top of the scanner stops, you may feed your next strip. If you are finished scanning, power the scanner off and eject the SD card. The photos can be removed using any SD card reader. You can also use the Scan PC software included with the scanner to scan directly to a PC running Windows.
