Quick Start: Scan a Photo to an SD card
Let’s take a quick look at how to scan photos using the Kodak P460 Personal Photo Scanner. In this demonstration, we are going to scan right to an SD card, with no computer or software needed.
Start by plugging the scanner in to a wall outlet using the provided adapter cable.
Next, insert the SD Memory card into the slot on the back of the scanner so that the arrow is facing up and the gold electrical contacts are facing down.
Turn on the scanner.
Insert a photo into the feed slot, and move the positioning slider until it is snug.
The Power/Status card light will flash. wait until the blinking stops before scanning your next photo.
Once you are finished scanning, turn the power off.
Remove the memory card, and unplug the scanner.
Place the Memory card into a photo frame or SD card reader to view your scanned pictures. The photos will be in a folder named PHOTO1.
(Plug in cable) If you do not have an SD card reader, the P460 Photo Scanner can be used as an SD card reader by connecting it to your computer with the included USB cable. If you prefer, you can also can directly to your Windows PC using a program called “Scan PC” that is included on the MicroSD card that comes with the scanner.
